Reesa Marie Kammerman

Our beautiful Reesa Marie Kammerman, aged 16, returned to her heavenly home July 28, 2013, following a tragic car accident on July 12th.  Her beautiful smile captured our hearts from the day she was born on April 15, 1997. Reesa was a fun-loving, caring, and nurturing young woman, as was evidenced by her love for children and helping others. She loved to play the guitar, dance, ride horses, and sing in the Merit Academy Glee Club, where she also attended high school. She loved spending time with her family and being a loving big sister.

Reesa was preceded in death by “Papa” John Kammerman and cousin, Emily Kammerman. She is survived by her father, Michael Kammerman, mother, Billie Jo Barnum, and stepmother, Missy Kammerman; sisters: Brandee (Daniel) and Hannah; brothers: Jared, Jozef, Ammon, Isaac, Zachy, and Zachary; nephews: Acen and Emmytt and many aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents.

“Love, forgive, and be worry-free.”

Thank you to the doctors and nurses at University Medical Center Trauma Pediatric ICU in Las Vegas for all their support and assistance; to guardian angel Adrian Grocock who resuscitated Reesa immediately following the accident; the Ronald McDonald House staff and volunteers; and to the many friends, extended family, and strangers who have given freely and cared so much for our family.

    Cousin Michael and Family,.
We are very sorry to hear about the horrible news., but instead celebrate her life and you will never remember the bad only the happy moments and inspirational gifts of her life she has shared with all of you…..Of course she will never be forgotten and to grieve is normal. Being a Kammerman she is strong as her family is also. She is relaxing next to uncle John and grandma and grandpa Kammerman. Hang in there guys and please know even though we don’t always talk or see each other our love and hearts go out to all of you. Remember she in Gods hands now and the rest of her family so how special is that. We were all raised to put our faith and trust in our Heavenly Father and through Jesus all things are possible, she will always be with all of you and you will feel her spirit, again. I say through Jesus all things are possible.. God be with her and watch over and protect your family and stay strong. Our family is here if you need anything. Hang in there Michael your a strong man and will get through this premature time. Lots of love to your family.

I am so sorry about Reesa. I taught her in 8th grade and was always impressed by her amazing heart. She was quick to smile and really had a way of truly making others feel good about themselves. I have also taught a few of her brothers and loved having them as well. She will be missed. All my love and support to you all.

Reesa was my best friend. She was so good to me, and she helped me through one of the worst years. I will always remember what a beautiful spirit she had. It’s been almost two months, but I still feel her next to me constantly, laughing and having fun. Singing with her in Glee club at Merit was amazing, and she was so supportive to me and everyone else. I love you, Reesa. You are missed. I guess Heaven did gain a most beautiful angel.
