Glenn Ray Frandsen

Glenn Ray Frandsen, 86, passed away on February 4, 2016. He was born Nov. 2, 1929 Salt Lake City, Utah to Victor G. and Mary Hales Frandsen. Growing up in Springville he developed a strong work ethic which gave him a foundation to achieve anything.
Glenn served a full time mission for the LDS Church to the Central States, where he developed a strong testimony and love for our Savior Jesus Christ. Afterward he attended Brigham Young University where he joined the ROTC which led him to a career in the US Air Force, serving around the world for nearly 30 years, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. With retirement came opportunities to use his MBA in teaching and selling real estate and insurance.
He was sealed to his sweetheart, helpmate and best friend Evelyn Pulham March 4, 1954 in the Manti LDS Temple. After her passing in 1998, he married a new companion, Glenna Stevens.
Glenn treasured his opportunities to serve as branch president, bishop, Temple Square Host and ordinance worker in the Provo, Medford and Timpanogos temples and dearly loved those with whom he served and worked with.
Glenn is survived by 4 children: Jan (Mark) Hornberger of Orem, UT; Brad (Sue) of Bremerton, WA; Kris (Jennifer) of Farmington, UT; Jay of SLC, UT; 20 grandchildren & 29 great-grandchildren and by his brother Lee (Ilene) of Upland CA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn, two children Clark & Vicki, and his sister Ann.
Services will be held Feb.13 at 11am at the LDS chapel on 655 S 200 W, Orem, Utah. Viewings will be Feb. 12, 6–8 pm and Feb 13, 9:30–10:30. Burial at the Springville City Cemetery with full military rites courtesy of the American Legion. Condolences may be offered online at wheelermortuaries.com.
