She served many callings as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Primary and Relief Society. She also enjoyed visiting teaching and going to visit those who needed a visit, and would stop missionaries at the store to give them money. She served in the baptistry of the Provo, Utah Temple for 8 years. She worked for Nebo School District as a lunch worker at the Springville Jr. High for 15 years. She loved to do puzzles, read murder mystery books, and was known to always have a joke or riddle to brighten your day.

Ilene is survived by her three children: Ila May (Mike) Eggleston of Spanish Fork; J Earl (Chris) Coffman of Provo; David Lynn (Nancy) Coffman of Salem; and 9 most loved and talked about grandchildren; Laura, Devin, Amanda, Meagan, Emily, Justin, Eric, Brandon, and Trevor.
