July 27, 1924 — March 2, 2017

Keith Sherman Potts, 92, passed away peacefully at home on March 2, 2017 in Mapleton, UT.  Born July 27, 1924, in Silver City, UT to Ray Leland Potts and Cecil Higginson Potts.  Keith graduated from East High School in 1941; and University of Utah in 1953; with a B.S. in Business Administration and with a M.S. in Economics. He served in the U.S. Navy as an aircraft electrician from 1943 to 1946. Keith loved to read, listen to music, and build his own electronics.  He was a ham radio operator and “the fix it man”.  He was a dedicated church worker, with a delightful sense of humor right up to his last days. He was well liked by all and never knew a stranger.   Keith is survived by his children: Ann, Richard (Lori), Leslie Mulholland (Shawn), Mary Smith (Gillan); 12 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; and sister Lela Bergstrom.  He is preceded in death by son, William Keith Potts and brother, Richard H. Potts.  Funeral services to be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 11 am at the Harvest Park LDS Chapel 1068 So.1600 West Hwy, 89, Mapleton UT 84664.  A viewing is scheduled an hour prior to the funeral at the Harvest Park LDS Chapel.  Interment at Salt Lake Cemetery.
