LaRee DeGraw Gottfredson

LaRee DeGraw Gottfredson, 91, from Spanish Fork, Utah was reunited with her son in heaven on Tuesday, June 21, 2016.  LaRee passed away suddenly which is the only way she would have had it.  She lived a long happy fulfilling life and essentially ran marathons right up to the end.  She was strong, smart, beautiful, and extremely dedicated to her family.

LaRee married Paul Eugene Gottfredson, the love of her life, on August 23, 1972 in Reno, Nevada.  They later solemnized their marriage in the Provo temple on June 9, 2015.

LaRee was skillful at everything she pursued.  She excelled as a mother and was a dedicated wife her entire life.  She spent many years with Paul traveling the country in their fifth wheel.  She loved kruel stitchery, but she dedicated 99% of her life being of service to her family and being a superb wife to Paul.

Survivors include her dear husband, Paul; daughter, Lynnette S. Rose; and a son, Dennis J. Barney; and 5 grandchildren.  Another son, Michael Ray Witherell preceded her in death in 2008 at age 53.  LaRee also has only one surviving sibling, Dan DeGraw from Spanish Fork.

The viewing for those who would like to pay their respects, will be held Friday from 6 – 8 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 E. 200 S. in Springville.  The Funeral will be held Saturday, June 25, 2016 at the Springville 2nd Ward at 1785 E. 400 S. at 1 p.m. with a viewing at the church one hour prior to the church.  Burial will take place in the Evergreen Cemetery.
