Together Again

Lena Hilda Carnesecca DeRose, our precious Mom, left this world on September 27, 2015.  She is in a peaceful place with those who love her dearly.

Our Mom was a friend to everyone she met.  She made you feel welcome in her home, insisting that you stay long enough to let her feed you.  Mom was the first person to jump into action when you needed an event organized, a family member cared for or lend you support when you needed it the most.  She cared most about her family……family was everything to her!  She was proud of each of her children and their accomplishments. As a dedicated mother, she taught her six children how to be ethically, spiritually and civically responsible.  She was an expert at so many things; quilting, sewing, cooking and canning to name a few.  She was generous with her time and often would share and teach those talents to others.  But her real strength was how much she loved her husband of 60 years.  She was 150% in love with her Louie, and finally has rejoined him in heaven.

Our family would like to invite you to join us in honoring such an exceptional woman.  Viewing at Wheelers Mortuary, 211 E. 200 S., Springville, UT on Thursday, October 1st from 6-8 pm & Friday, October 2nd from 9:30-10:30 am with Mass at 11 am.  Graveside services will be at Evergreen Cemetery immediately following mass.

She was preceded in death by son Randy and Husband Louie; survived by sons Gary (Susan), Dennis (Debbie), daughters Susan (Wayne) Anderson, Karen Knowlton and Dyan Campbell.

We would like to thank the staff at Canyon Breeze and Brighton Hospice for the loving care they gave our Mom.

In lieu of flowers, our family asks that you spend some time with someone you love or donate to St. Francis Catholic Church in Orem.
