Linda (Erickson) Henrie

Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend Linda Jean Erickson Henrie passed away peacefully at her home in Springville, November 28, 2016. She was born in Logan, Utah April 21, 1943 to Quentin and Georgia Erickson. She graduated from Springville High School class of 1961.
She was married to Gary Johnston and they were later divorced. They had 3 beautiful daughters. Linda then married the love of her life David R. Henrie on February 21,1974. She gained a new son and then they were blessed with another son together. She loved working for Intermountain Healthcare Springville Instacare as a courier for 17 years. She was a devoted wife, mother and created a home filled with warmth and love. Being a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother is where she excelled and that brought her the greatest joy of all.
She is survived by her husband, David; children: Jeanie(Shayne) Hammer Spanish Fork, UT; Brenda Weier Mesa, AZ; Lori(James) Gabbitas Springville, UT; Darren(Charlette) Henrie Mapleton, UT; Jason(Ashlee) Henrie Salem, UT; 18 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; siblings: Marsha(Kirk) Larsen, Kathy Lunceford, Kent Erickson, Judy (Fred) Cundy. She was preceded in death by her parents and son in law Rodney Blackburn.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Springville 2nd Ward LDS Chapel, 1785 East 400 South, Springville, Utah. The viewing will take place Friday evening December 2, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. also at the church. There will also be a viewing one hour prior to the funeral at the church.
