Mikeal John Hatfield, 69, surrounded by his loving family returned back to his Father in Heaven on May 23, 2016. He passed away from complications following surgery from a hematoma on his brain stem at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo, Utah.

Mike was born on January 4, 1947 in Springville, Utah, to Leland and Norma Hatfield. After he graduated from Springville High School in 1965 he then served with the 116th Engineers in the Springville National Guard. Mike was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served faithfully in many callings including serving as a counselor within three bishoprics. He loved serving the youth of the church, especially the night his 22 Boy Scouts received their Eagle Scout Award. After serving many years with the Boy Scouts of America, he was awarded the Silver Beaver Award.

At the time of his death, he was currently working at Murdock Hyundai of Lindon as a Finance Manager and has made many wonderful friends.

Mike loved the outdoors and animals. We will all miss his smile and the best hugs ever!
