Sadie Emma (Miller) Young

Sadie Emma Miller Young passed away peacefully on April 19, 2016 surrounded by her family. Sadie was born October 23, 1938 in Anson Texas to Everett H and Adelle Smith Miller. She graduated from Springville high school and attended BYU and UVU.
She married Dean Willis Young and they are the parents of five children: Jenny Rose, Ellijay Georgia, Garvin (Dixie), Clinton Utah, Charla (Kim) Ellison, Spanish Fork, SuZet (Ian) Roylance, Springville, SuZan (Corey) McEwan, Spanish Fork. She and Dean were married and sealed on September 14, 1963 in the Manti Temple.
She was always involved in her children's activities from being PTA president when they were in elementary school to being on the committee planning the Springville community education classes and activities. Over the years she owned and operated Young's cleaning, and a dating service. She wrote personal history and books for her children and grandchildren. Her absolute goal in life was to leave something behind to help her children and grandchildren live happy and successful lives. Sadie was dedicated and served faithfully in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She possessed a valiant testimony, and most often taught others by her loving, obedient example.
Sadie is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, 5 children, 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, 5 sisters, 3 brothers and her mother. She was proceeded in death by her grandmother Virgina Rose Smith, her father Everett H Miller, and brother Eli Miller.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 11am. Viewings will be on Friday, April 22, from 6 to 8 pm at the Mapleton Wheeler Mortuary 82 W 400 N and Saturday, April 23, from 10:00 to 10:45 am at 970 N 400 E Mapleton. Interment will be at the Evergreen Cemetery.
Sadie's family would like to thank all the wonderful doctors and nurses who cared for her; and the many family, and friends for their love, visits, and support.
In lieu of flowers, Sadie would love for you to take your family for tacos and ice cream.
