Shad Lynn Thomas

Shad Lynn Thomas died suddenly and unexpectedly at home on August 28th, 2016. He recently had been diagnosed with cancer and was undergoing chemo therapy with great optimism.

Shad was born on April 18th, 1974 to Lynn and Stephanie Thomas.  He worked at Hobble Creek Golf Course for many years and also as a heavy equipment operator. Shad enjoyed music and going to concerts.  He loved golfing, skiing and fishing with family and his pals. Shad was loved by all who knew him and will be deeply missed.

Shad was preceded in death by his grandparents James and Colleen Perri and grandmother Joyce Thomas.

He is survived by His parents, sister Crystabelle, brother T.C. (Michele), grandfather Morgan Thomas, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and by all his pals.

A casual celebration of his life will be held at Hobble Creek Golf Course at 2pm on Sunday September 11th. Gather your photos and your open mic memories and wear your favorite golf, ski, fishing, concert or band T-shirt for a “Shindig for Shad!”
