Kenneth Max Jones

August 20, 1955 — June 5, 2019

Kenneth Max Jones, 63 passed away on Wednesday June 5,  2019. He was born August 20, 1955 in Brigham City, Utah to Max Lester and Joyce Gibby Jones. He was raised in Provo, Utah. He was the oldest of five children.

He married the love of his life Bonnie Ann Wheeler on June 19, 1976. Together they raised four children.

He coached his sons, grandsons, and brother in little league baseball for many years. He loved to bowl, which he did for more than 50 years. He was a member of the Central Utah Bowling Association Hall of Fame, President of the Association as well as president of multiple leagues. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, and golf. He was a lifelong fan of The New York Yankees, The Boston Celtics, Indianapolis Colts, and BYU Athletics.  He was happiest when he was with his Family.

He retired as a Supervisor from The US Postal Service in 2017, after working there for more than 30 years.  He made many friends with his sense of humor. You knew you were loved when he was giving you a hard time.

He is survived by his wife Bonnie; children, Ryan, Mandy (Aaron) Johnson, Amber (Adam) Mason, and Reggie (Lacy); Mother, Joyce Jones Willis; siblings, Gloria (Russ) Limb, Larry, Ann Willis, Collette (Earmal) McKinley; and 15 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father Max Jones, stepfather Merrill Willis, grandparents and a niece Brittany Limb.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at 11am at the Stake Center, 2188 East 100 South, Spanish Fork, Utah. Family and Friends may visit Monday June 10, 2019 from 6-8 pm at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South Springville, Utah and prior to the services on Tuesday at 9:45-10:45 am at the Stake Center. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Springville Utah.

If you are attending the viewing on Monday night, the family asks that you please wear your favorite sports team attire, in honor of Ken’s love of sports.
