Miyoko Inoue Settle

December 1, 1926 — December 12, 2017

Miyoko passed away peacefully in her own home after a brave battle with cancer.  She was born to Shuhei Inoue and Ichi Oba in Ninooka Village (Gotemba City) Japan.
She was formally trained in design in dress making.  She was known for her kimono making.  It was a great love along with her gardening, her children, and traveling the world.
She met her late husband John Robert Settle, Sr. in Japan and were married June 24, 1954 and later sealed in the Mesa, Arizona Temple on September 14, 1965.  They had 9 children that she taught the love of outdoors, the beauty in the world that surrounds us.
She is preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother, 3 sisters, 1 child and her husband.  She is survived by her children: Patricia (Ron) Behrmann, NM; Linda (Shane) Groneman; John (Carla) Settle, Jr.; Arlene (John) Kendall; Loretta (Shawn) Liddiard; Douglas (Maria) Settle, NV; Joseph Settle, Sr.; Amy (Mike) Farrester; 31 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Friends and family are welcome to come share their condolences at the viewing at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 E. 200 S., in Springville on Friday, December 15, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. or on Saturday at the LDS chapel at 400 N. 400 E. in Springville from 11:45 to 12:45 p.m. with funeral services at 1 p.m. following the viewing.
