Nancy C (Mellor) Broadhead

April 25, 1943 ~ February 7, 2018 (age 74)

On February 7, 2018 Nancy Clara Broadhead Mellor, returned home to re-join her parents Wilford and Dessie along with her sister Jeanie who she missed terribly. Nancy was born April 25, 1943 in a little frame house on Buckley Avenue in Springville, UT. She is survived by her 2 children and their spouses, Max (Estella) Broadhead and Christina Hundley Broadhead along with her grandchildren, their spouses and great grandchildren, Tanisha & Nick Peterson, Madoxx, Nixxon and Lenyxx, Corina & Tjay Rowley, Titan, Cynthia Hundley, Tabbatha Hundley, Conrad Broadhead, Melina Broadhead, Alisha & Daniel, Zayden, Junior and Andrew & Delanie Broadhead. Her brother and his spouse Niel & Sharlene Mellor.

Nancy had a spirit and personality that you did not forget and she has touched the lives of many. She is remembered for being hardworking and tenacious about learning. Nancy was always wanting to learn a new trade, skill or try a new hobby throughout her life. She loved animals and watching Animal Planet especially Pit Bulls and Paroles, she was kind hearted and was known for having many talks with her own cat Sammy. As a mom she would push you not to give up and had a way to get us to listen. Without a doubt she was a spunky women who had some sass, but also loved to help others. Nancy loved her grandbabies and great-grandbabies more than words could say. Nancy was also remembered for her excitement for other peoples accomplishments no matter how big or small and was always happy for them.  She was always happy for what others could accomplish and let them know how proud she was whether it was a big life event or as simple as what a good friend or mother someone was and always saw the good in people.

She had gentle hands and a forgiving smile with a joyful personality and a caring heart. Nancy made sure no matter what struggles she was facing she would help those in need from 2 legged to 4 legged. What a big heart she had! Nancy had knowledge and always shared what she knew, she stayed true to herself and definitely had a spunkiness you did not forget.  And for being one who defied the odds and never backed down from her position. And was as tough as nails when she needed to be.

A special thanks to Vanessa for the love and kindness that you showed our mother and grandmother and the care you gave.
