Rose Allie (Lambertsen) Rodeback

June 24, 1945 — March 12, 2018

Rose Allie Lambertsen Rodeback (1945-2018) was born June 24, 1945 in Salina, Utah. She passed away on March 12, 2018 in Payson, Utah at the age of 72. She was the eighth child of Otto Christian Lambertsen and Lillian Day Lambertsen. Rosie grew up in Lost Creek and attended school in Salina, Utah. She then attended Stevens-Henager College. She married Glen Christensen in 1964 and they divorced 27 years later. They had five children: Cherylene R. Christensen (Alan), Shaun Glen Christensen (Katie), Jody M. Christensen (Karen), Jeremy Vern Christensen (Jeanie Croasmun), and Carol Ann Christensen Barton.
She married David R. Rodeback in March, 2008. When Rosie met Dave, she met a great man whom she would love for eternity. They were later sealed for time and all eternity in the Prove, Utah temple.  Dave’s family immediately became her family and so the number of children and grandchildren grew.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers and a sister, and two grandsons. She is survived by her beloved Dave, 10 children, 35 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and too many nieces and nephews to count. She also had many children she “adopted” throughout life who were her children’s friends, kids at Gunnison Valley High School (where she was the secretary for many years), and children in the neighborhoods where she lived. Everybody who met Rosie knew that she loved them. Her work ethic was contagious. She dedicated her life to serving others and building them up. She is loved dearly and will be missed until we meet again.
