Steven Jerrald Hatfield

Steven Jerrald Hatfield, 54, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend passed away peacefully on November 27, 2018, unexpectedly.

Steve was born on November 4, 1964, the son of Jerrald Cloid Hatfield and Lena LaVon Allred. He graduated from Springville High School, where he excelled in wrestling, football and baseball. He also was a member of the school choir and he loved to sing.

He went to the Trade Tech & UVU in Diesel Mechanics.  He worked for Springville City Power Plant, for many years. He also worked for Pacific States & Mitylite.

Steve loved sports, he also loved to ski. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, trapping, riding horses, camping. Going for long rides. He also coached baseball, football and assisted in wrestling.

He served in many callings in the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints.

Steve married his sweetheart, Starla Ann Perry on December 19, 2017. Steve has 1 amazing step daughter Melissa Crandell Jr. (Gary). Steve was previously married to Janine Gonzales and they had 4 amazing children. Alicia Milberger (Anthony). Michael (Kimberli), Riley (Malishia), & Philip Hatfield.

Poppy had 10 Grandchildren, Kamber, Kilie, Aspen, Jace, AnnaLisa, ZaeLee, Mikal, EmaLee, Brecken and Evelynn. Each loved him unconditionally, and he them. They were his joy.

He is survived by his two brothers, Richard (Jennifer) & Neal (Kathy) Hatfield. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles.

A celebration of his life for all who would like to share memories with his family, will be held on Monday December 3, from 11 AM to 12 PM, at the Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints, Hobble Creek Second Ward, 555 South Averett Ave Springville. Condolences may be sent at www.wheelermortuaries.com
