Amanda May Apgood

November 24, 2021 — November 24, 2021

Orem

Amanda May Apgood earned her angel wings on November 24, 2021. She is the daughter of Andrew and Madelin Apgood and a sister to Cory and Lillian.
Amanda was 7 pounds, 5 ounces, and 21 inches long. She was born at 1:57 a.m. at American Fork Hospital.
Even though she never took a breath, she has touched our hearts; we will carry her in our hearts until we see her again.
The name Amanda means “beloved” the meaning of May is “a wished-for child.” She was a bundle of perfection. She is beautiful.
The only way to remove the sting of death is to remove love. We feel the sting of her death because we love her with all our hearts. The knowledge of the gospel eases the ache we feel in our hearts for our sweet Amanda.
She is now in the loving arms of her grandmother Rebecca Crockett, who will hold her and love her until she can be in the arms of her parents again.
Amanda is also preceded in death by an aunt, uncle, and cousin.
She is survived by her parents, Andrew and Madelin Apgood, siblings Cory and Lillian. Several great-grandparents. Grandpa and Grandma Apgood. Grandpa and Grandma Crockett. Many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held in her honor at the Mapleton Cemetery on December 4, 2021, at 2:00 p.m.
