Andrew Louis Gurule

Also known as Junior or Andy, of Springville Utah passed away Wednesday, February 23rd, 2022, at the age of 86.
He was born September 4th, 1935 in Del Norte Colorado to Andres Evalino Gurule and Augustina Ramona Atencio (preceded in death).
He married Lucy I Jiron on May 14th, 1962 in Provo Utah Christian Church. She proceeded him in death on February 21, 1995.
He was a butcher for most of his life working for Les Hardy & Son, Spanish Fork Packing House, Vergo Meat, and Safeway. He also did construction with Warburton Construction.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time in the cabin he built for his family.
Andy is survived by his four children - Brenda Baze (Richard Herbert), Louis (Tiffany) Gurule, Teresa (Trent) Pooley of Idaho, and Craig Gurule - 12 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Intermountain LDS Hospitals I.C.U. doctors and nurses for the care they provided him.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, February 28, 2022 at the Springville Evergreen Cemetery. There will be a viewing held Monday at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 E. 200 S., Springville from 12:00 to 1:00 prior to the graveside services.
