Anmaree Joy Wilson

October 17, 1983 — August 12, 2017

On August 12, 2017 Anmaree Joy Wilson was tragically taken from her family and those who love her. She had gone to a Wilson family party where she was smiling, laughing. She had a marvelous pregnancy glow about her. She suddenly collapsed and was taken to the hospital where doctors were able to deliver her full-term baby, but Anmaree could not be revived. Anmaree is survived by her husband Bryan (her love and best friend), Cadan (9), Deklan (7), Ender (3), Fiona (2), and Grayden (0).

Anmaree was born in 1983 in the Philippines. She was in an orphanage that listed her birthday Oct 17. She was adopted by a family in Michigan (Webber). From there she moved with different families and friends around Michigan through the Foster Care System. She loved life, friends, laughing, and playing sports. She constantly sought out information, ideas and programs to help her be better in all areas of her life. In 2006, she moved to Utah to live with the Augustus’. At that time she went to the LDS Mapleton Singles Ward and this is where she meet Bryan. They were married in the Mt. TImpanogos Temple February 16, 2007.

She made many friends in each of the areas she and and Bryan lived. She loved the people they meet in the different areas they lived. She loved beauty and went on to become a cosmetologist. This provided her the perfect opportunity to meet and visit with people. Most of all Anmaree felt a need to have children, be a homemaker and care for them. One quote she liked was by M. Russell Ballard. It states “There is no one perfect way to be a good mother. Each situation is unique. Each mother has different challenges, different skills and abilities and certainly different children. What matters is that a mother loves her children deeply.” Anmaree wanted the world for her family. She told a friend recently that even though she struggled with trials, she could still be happy because she knew that she was raising her children the way Heavenly Father wanted her to. She loved Bryan and would show her love often by praising him and bragging about him to everyone and anyone. She was proud of the father and man he was. She will be greatly missed, but we know that she is looking after her kids from Heaven above.

We’d like to thank the medical staff and team at the University of Utah Hospital for their care.
