Arlund D Lewis III, 46, of Salem, Utah passed away on Tuesday October 3rd, 2023. He was born on April 26th, 1977 in Provo, Utah to Arlund D Lewis Jr and Christine Prettyman. Arlund married Jo Lene Ray on January 21, 2000 in Ephraim, Utah.
Arlund grew up in Lehi, Utah; the oldest of 4 boys. Much of his childhood was spent having adventures with his cousins in Price, Utah. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and attended Lehi High School, where he was a state champion wrestler, football player and Eagle Scout. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, camping, shooting and anything out of doors. He was a self taught master chef and was always cooking up some new and delicious recipe.
Arlund was a collector of sauces and seasonings; always on the lookout for spicy foods, he loved to challenge people to try them.
Arlund is survived by his wife, and the love of his life, Jo Lene Ray. Together they created a beautiful family with their three sons: Kayden Lewis (Hanna) of Mapleton; Arlund Derek Lewis; and Brandon Lewis, both of Salem. Being a Papa to his 2 favorite grandchildren, Ivy and Greyson meant the world to him. His two dogs, Ace and Izzy were his constant companions, and always at his side.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 10th, 2023 at the Salem West Stake Center located at 695 S 300 W in Salem, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 10 am-11:30 am at the stake center as well. Burial will be in the Salem City Cemetery.
