Curtis Roe Allman passed away on July 26, 2025, in Lehi, Utah, at the age of 87.
Roe was born on May 10, 1938, in Provo, Utah, to Curtis Arthur Allman and Elsie McCurdy Allman.
He married Mary Morrill, and they later divorced. He then married Kathy Davis, and they later divorced.
Roe attended Brigham Young University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering. He had a deep love for the outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting for arrowheads, fishing, hunting, and camping. He also had a passion for travel and was an active member of the Rotary Club.
A talented watercolor artist, Roe’s work was exhibited in many venues and received numerous awards. His creativity and artistic eye brought joy to many.
More than anything, Roe was a devoted father and grandfather who loved his family dearly.
He is survived by his three daughters: Rochelle Allman of Canby, Oregon; Susan Stanley (Robert) of Bluffdale, Utah; and Lisa Spencer of Springville, Utah. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren, with one more on the way.
Roe was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Don Allman; and two grandchildren, Mary Jean Rayburn and Jacob Rayburn.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 4, at the Mapleton Ward, located at 1215 N 1000 W, Mapleton, UT 84664.
Viewings for friends and family will be held on Sunday evening, August 3, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary (211 E 200 S, Springville), and again on Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service at the Mapleton Ward.
Burial will take place at Springville Evergreen Cemetery, located at 1997 S 400 E, Springville, UT 84663.
Roe lived a full and vibrant life—one marked by curiosity, creativity, and a deep love for nature and family. His quiet strength, warm humor, and generous spirit will be missed but never forgotten. His legacy lives on in the stories he told, the art he created, and the family he cherished.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 4, 2025 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Chapel, 1215 North 1000 West, Mapleton, Utah. Viewings for family and friends will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, August 3, 2025 at Wheeler & Sundberg Funeral Home, 211 East 200 South, Springville, Utah, and from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Monday, August 4, 2025 at the church before the services. Burial will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
