David Paul Dibble

September 30, 1936 — December 27, 2018

David Paul Dibble passed away Thursday December 27, 2018 at Utah Valley Hospital surrounded by his family.  Paul was born September 30, 1936 in Springville Utah to Willis Fay Dibble and Iris Tippetts Dibble.  He was raised and lived in Mapleton his entire life.  Paul graduated from Springville High School, later served in the United States Navy.  He married Beverly Hansen August 12, 1961.  They were later sealed for time and all eternity in the Provo Temple. Together they had five children, Paula Jean Snow, David James (Marcia), Darin John (Paige), Marnie Ann Christensen and Scott Fay (Lorrie).

Paul worked for Geneva Steel as a crane operator and retired after 32 years.  After retiring, Paul and Beverly were campground host during the summer months for over 20 years.  They made many wonderful friends and acquaintances.

Paul is survived by his wife and children, 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.  His siblings Mary Ellen Rodrique, Alan Fay Dibble and Marva Dibble. Paul is proceeded in death by his parents Willis Fay and Iris, a grandson Austin Allen Remund, a son in law, Robert Kelly Snow and father in law, Roland Hansen.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday January 2, 2019 at the Mapleton Utah Stake Center located at 970 North 400 East at 11:00 am with a viewing held before from 9:30-10:30 am.  There will be a viewing held Tuesday January 1, 2019 at the Wheeler Mortuary located at 82 West 400 North in Mapleton, Utah from 5:00-7:00 pm.   Interment will be at the Evergreen Cemetery in Springville, Utah.
