DeLynn Hansen, born October 11,1931, passed away peacefully at his home on December 2, 2017.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean conflict. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, and his grandchildren. His hobbies included antique car restoration, woodworking, and he always had a project going on. He wasn't afraid to try anything.
DeLynn is survived by his wife, Ireata Swasey Hansen, and their four children Rick, Cheryl, Barry (Sandra), Lynnette Dansie (Keith). He was the proud grandfather of 16 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Franklin Earl and Elva Carter, 4 brothers, 1 sister, and 1 grandchild.
Funeral services will be held December 6, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Hobble Creek Stake Center 555 South 600 East (Averett Avenue) Springville, Utah.
A viewing will be held Tuesday evening December 5 from 6 to 8 at Wheeler Mortuary 211 East 200 South Springville, Utah and 1 hour prior to the funeral service.
