Dennis Albert Bollschweiler

Dennis Albert Bollschweiler, 67, of Springville, Utah passed away on Thursday, September 14th, 2023, at 11:00 PM, after a long illness. He was born on May 2nd, 1956, in Ogden, Utah to Anna Marie Benincosa and Octave Gerald “Gary” Bollschweiler. He married Lou Merrilyn Andersen on May 14th, 1999, and was sealed on January 21st, 2003, in the Mount Timpanogos Temple. 

​Dennis enjoyed fishing and gardening with his wife, his favorite color was blue, loved animal cookies, pineapple cake and any flavor of ice cream and of course, his minky couture blanket. He loved his two-liter Pepsi, making a promise to his wife that he would drink “just one a day.”  He served a two-year mission in the Auckland, New Zealand Mission. He served in primary for many years, as well as serving in the Provo Temple with his wife. The one thing he most enjoyed was being with his family, creating his own carpentry work, and creating bird houses with his grandchildren. He loved the gospel and his savior Jesus Christ. 

​Dennis is survived by his 9 children, Dennis Albert Bollschweiler Jr., (Jennifer), Christina, Jonathan, Andrew Jensen (Lisa), Alisa Farabee (Randall), Benjamin Jensen, (Stephanie), Karen Davis (Kyle), Michelle Morgan (Jeremy), and Jilliane L. Jensen. Dennis has 22 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Octave Gerald “Gary,” Bollschweiler, his brother, Bradley Jay Bollschweiler and his Uncle George and his furry friends, Rusty, Jake, and Frankie. 

​Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 23rd at 1:00pm in the Springville Stake Center, address 535 E. 1230 S. in Springville, Utah. A viewing for friends and family will be held Friday evening from 6PM to 8PM at Wheeler Mortuary located at 211 E. 200 S. in Springville and Saturday just prior to the service from 11:30AM to 12:30PM at the church. Burial will be held the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
