Diane Watts Quilter, our beautiful and beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, age 82, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2025.
She was born January 28, 1943 and lived most of her life in Orem, Utah.
Diane shared her love of teaching in Holbrook, Arizona while serving in the Southwest Indian mission, amongst the Navajo people, for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Diane married Woodruff Glen Quilter in 1966, for time and all eternity, in The Salt Lake City Utah Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She has 8 children, Tina (Brad) Nusink, Mary (John Mitchell) Quilter, Glen Woodruff (Georgina) Quilter, Shari (Scott) Haynes, Diane Quilter, Kristine Quilter, Mayana (Noel) Beaumont, and Alicia (Mark) Rogers.
She has 28 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
She is a woman of many talents including singing, painting, reading, self-improvement, piano and 8 kids.
She created a home of music, learning, sharing and loving others. Mom taught us, her children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren about integrity and learning through her example.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodruff Glen Quilter, daughters Shari Haynes and Kristine Quilter, grandsons Wyatt Nusink and Michail Beaumont, 1 great grandson Lucas Kirkman, her parents and all her siblings.
The viewing is on Monday, December 15th from 6-8 pm at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 E 200 S Springville, Ut 84663.
The funeral is on Tuesday, December 16th at 11 am with a viewing before from 9:30-10:30 am at LDS Chapel, 1230 S 500 E Springville, Utah 84663.
