Don Arthur Simons

Don Arthur Simons, 72, of Springville, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2026. He was the firstborn child of Don Owen Simons and Rosalie Marie Keisel Simons. He was born January 16, 1954, in Mount Pleasant, Utah. Don graduated from Springville High School in 1972. Shortly after graduation, he served in the U.S. Army. During that time, he discovered his love of being a mechanic and spent his life tinkering on vehicles and other machines. 

Don is survived by his six children: Stacy (Chris) Granger of Round Mountain, Texas; Brian Simons of Payson, Utah; Steven (Michelle) Simons of Mapleton, Utah; Lori Simons of Payson, Utah; Lyle (Whitney) Simons of Mapleton, Utah; and Richard Simons of Payson, Utah; 14 grandchildren; and his four siblings: Larry Simons of Payson, Utah; Doug Simons of Springville, Utah; Debbie Simons of Springville, Utah; and Brent (Angie) Simons of Springville, Utah. He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings, Steven, Paul, and Mike. 

Funeral services and burial will be held Friday, August 28, 2026, at 11 a.m. at the Springville Evergreen Cemetery. A viewing for friends and family will also be held Friday, August 28, 2026 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Wheeler & Sundberg Funeral Homes, located at 211 East 200 South in Springville.
