Donald Blaine Hadley was born on April 30, 1933, in his grandparents' home on Wilson Lane in Weber County, Utah, the second of three children born to William Elmer Hadley and Edith Hadley.
He spent his childhood moving between Southern California and West Weber, northwest of Ogden. Blaine graduated from Weber High School and attended Brigham Young University before being called to serve in the Korean War.
While in Provo, he met Karma Boardman. Following his basic training, they were married in the Salt Lake Temple, after which Blaine served three years in the U.S. Army at various locations. Upon his return, the couple settled in Provo, where Blaine completed his degree in Banking and Finance at BYU.
After graduation, Blaine began his career at State Bank of Provo, which later merged with Springville Banking Company to form Central Bank. He dedicated over 40 years to the institution, retiring as Senior Vice President and Comptroller. He continued to serve on the Board of Directors until his passing.
A devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Blaine served in numerous callings throughout his life, cherishing the people he served alongside and finding joy in each new opportunity. He spent many rewarding years working in the Provo and Provo City Center Temples.
Blaine also contributed to his community, including several years on the Board of Adjustments and other assignments.
Blaine is survived by his three children: Jackie (Mike) Snelson, Don Hadley, and Bob (Tracie) Hadley; eleven grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; his sister, Carol Donaldson; and brother-in-law John Boardman.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Karma; his parents; and his older brother, Roy.
He will be deeply missed for his positive attitude, caring concern for others, and outstanding example of service, hard work, and charity. Blaine leaves behind a profound legacy for his family to emulate.
