Dorothy Goldie (Laird Mecham) Snow

Dorothy Laird Mecham Snow, 92, died in the early morning, Wednesday March 27, 2019 in Springville, Utah.

Dorothy was born in Standardville, Utah on June 23, 1926 to David Laird and Martha (Nellie) Davies Laird.  She married Carl LaMont Mecham on August 10, 1945. He preceded her in death February 28, 1974.  She married Dick Snow of Springville, November 27, 1981.

Dorothy loved to roller skate, dance, & meet new people. She excelled and loved to shop the sales. She was a Utah Champion bowler.  Dorothy loved her family and she was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother.

Dorothy was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and loved serving as a visiting teacher.

Dorothy is survived by her husband Dick, children Gary (Susan) Mecham, Annette (Steven) Nielsen, Chris (Roz) Mecham, and Michelle (Kim) Ferguson.

She was proceded in death by her parents, her 9 siblings, her beloved son David Mecham, and great granddaughter Lillian Rae Montague.  Dorothy is survived by 19 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held at Wheeler Mortuary Mapleton located at 82 West 400 North, Mapleton from 1-2pm Friday March 29, 2019.

Honoring Dots wishes a graveside service will be held at 2:30 at the Springville Evergreen Cemetery, 1997 South 400 East, Springville Utah.
