Elma Lucile Medved

October 19, 1922 — June 13, 2007

Our sweet wife, mother, sister, grandmother and aunt, Peggy Medved age 84 of Mapleton, Utah passed from this life into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on June 13th, 2007. She was born October 19th, 1922 in Mt. Pleasant, Utah to Jesse M. Petersen and Annie Rebecca Seeley. She was the 6th of 7 children.



Mama married Edgar Kearley on September 1st, 1938, they were later divorced. Mama then married her sweetheart Fred Medved on June 4, 1962. Peggy was a mother to 5 children: Lucile (Terry) Marchbanks, Sharon (Verl) Brimhall, Carol Ann (Mark) Fullmer (deceased) all of Orem, Edgar (Christine) Kearley of Lindon, and Larry Medved of Whitney, Texas.



The world has lost a very special lady. Every person that knew Peggy was touched by her loving heart and generous spirit. Everyone was better off for knowing this sweet lady. She had a unique way of making everyone feel so special.



Mama you'll always be in our hearts and our life's. The things that you have taught us will be handed down through our families so that all of your descendant's will know the great lady that you are.

Peggy is survived by her sweetheart, 4 children, 16 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 33 great great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law Colleen Snelson, Connie Dalton and Josephine Kilpatrick.



Preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, 1 granddaughter and 1 great-grandson. Also by her 4 brothers: Bill, Bardine, Laudell and Melvin Petersen and her 2 sisters Virginia Peterson and Margret Petersen.



Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the LDS Chapel at 970 North 400 East in Mapleton. Friends and family may call Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 82 West 400 North in Mapleton and Saturday at the church one hour prior to the services. Interment will be at the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
