Gisela Billie Johanna Pauline Fehringer Jacobsen

d. May 10, 2013

1916 ~ 2013

Our spunky sweet mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother Gisela (Billie) Johanna Pauline Fehringer Jacobsen, age 97, passed away Friday, May 10, 2013 from cause's incident to her age. She was born in San Francisco, California on March 13, 1916 to John Albert and Freida Fehringer. She married and was later sealed for time and all eternity to Albert Eugene Jacobsen.

She never had the chance to finish school but she worked hard her whole entire life taking care of her family and friends. Her license plates read "MSNERG" (Miss Energy) which fit her to a "T". When in her 80's she would visit the "old" people in nursing homes. Many of them were much younger than she was.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many positions mostly in Primary and Young Women's. She loved going to girls' camp and the girls always had fun with her.

She had an infectious laugh that would have people laughing along with her. She was proud of her children and grandchildren and took pleasure in watching them grow.

Billie was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, husband, grandson, 3 granddaughters and her son Bill. She is survived by her son Bob (Karen), Orem, Utah; daughter Shirley (Glenn) Peterson, Henderson, Nevada; son Rick (Pauline), Spanish Fork, Utah; 13 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Services will be held Tuesday, May 14, 2013, 1:00 pm at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 South 200 East, Springville, Utah. Viewing will be held prior to the services. She will be laid to rest next to her eternal companion in the Springville City Cemetery.
