Helen June Stoddard Beckett

Helen was born in Hot Lake, Oregon to John I. Stoddard and Olive Helen Ransom. Helen graduated from Granite High School and from Brigham Young University. She worked as a Kindergarten teacher in the public school system. Helen married Don Beckett in the Salt Lake Temple June 27, 1955. Helen served in numerous church callings. She loved genealogy, family history and attending the temple. She dearly loved being a wife, mother and homemaker.



Helen is survived by her husband, Don and two children: Cindy (Alvan) Williamson of Springville, and Bruce (Charlotte) Beckett of Mona, UT; seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters, Betty, Lou, and Joan, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two grandsons, David and Jason.



Viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 with services at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 in the East Bay 1st Ward, 424 W. 1200 S., Provo.
