Ida Faye Robson Clawson, known as Faye, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family, in Mapleton Utah, on August 24, 2025, at the age of 81.

Faye was born on March 31, 1944, in Phoenix, Arizona, to Raymond Randolph Robson and Ellen Celeste Tiffany Robson. Through her life's many trials she showed remarkable strength and faith. Her ability to endure with grace while still radiating love, and she was an inspiration to her family and all who knew her.

Faye graduated from Pescadero high school in California and attended Snow College in Utah before marrying Dale Marion Clawson in the Salt Lake Temple on June 7, 1965. With military service and employment changes they moved often in the early years of their marriage. They settled in Santa Rosa, California where she truly felt at home. In 2017 they retired to Mapleton, Utah to be nearer to their children and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and two sisters. She is survived by her brother, Larry Robson; her husband, Dale Clawson; her five children, Allen (April) Clawson, Elisa Clawson, Andrew (Sarah) Clawson, Emily (Chris) Mann, and Rachel (Keith) Jackson; 13 cherished grandchildren, Bradley (Kyrie), Jared (Lacey), Nathan (Anna), Ashley, Emma, Luke, Jacob (Megan), Evelyn, Calvin, Frederick, Peter, Levi, and Jonah; and six beloved great-grandchildren, Millie, Scott, Elena, Jane, Gwendolyn, and Aurora. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and in-laws who loved her.

Her greatest joy and passion in life was her family. Despite hardships in her youth and ongoing health struggles, she worked hard to build a home filled with love, safety, and joy. Her happiest times were when family gathered for an event and supported each other. Faye had a deep love of reading, education, and lifelong learning. She encouraged her children to value knowledge and hard work, and her influence helped all of them graduate from college. That same legacy of learning continues to shape her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who carry forward her example of curiosity and growth.

A lifelong faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Faye loved the gospel of Jesus Christ and lived with unwavering devotion. Her testimony, service, and strength blessed countless lives.

Her legacy of love, learning, endurance, and faith will live on in her posterity and in the hearts of all who were touched by her life.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the chapel 970 N 400 E, Mapleton, Ut. At 6 pm on Friday August 29, 2025.

To celebrate her life an ice cream social will be held immediately following the memorial. All are invited
