Iris Rose Cox Reese

Iris Rose Cox Reese of Mapleton, Utah died May 13, 2007. She was born June 1, 1925 in Alton, Utah, to William Mills and Eliza Olive Allen Cox, the 10th of 11 children.
She married Aaron Allen Reese February 10, 1949. They were sealed for time and all eternity on June 20, 1953, in the St George, Utah, temple.
Iris was a very devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and held many church callings throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband (in 1997) and two daughters Eliza Reese and Hope Reese, and a grandson Thomas Roper.
She is survived by 3 sons and 2 daughters: Pauline Roper, Payson; Patricia (John) Miner, Springville; Charles (Karen) Reese, Spanish Fork; William (Lori) Reese, Mapleton; Hyrum (Lori) Reese, Joseph; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Lucy and Rex Crofts; and a sister in law Kathleen Reese.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 18, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the Mapleton North Stake Center at 475 North 1600 West in Mapleton. There will be a viewing held Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 82 West 400 North in Mapleton and at the church on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 prior to the service. Interment will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
