Jane Condie Jones, 88, of Springville, Utah, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2026, just sixteen days before her 89th birthday. She spent her entire life in the same home in Springville where she was born and raised, creating a lifetime of cherished memories within its walls.

Jane was born July 23, 1937, to parents in Springville, Utah. She married Jack Hyde-Jones, and together they built a life centered on faith, family, and service. Jack preceded her in death on June 19, 2019.

Throughout her life, Jane wore many hats with grace and dedication. She began as a devoted homemaker, raising her children with love and care. When her youngest child started school, Jane entered the workforce at Signetics. When that company closed, she pursued her passion for beauty and people by attending school to become a hairdresser. She opened a salon in the basement of her home, where she cut hair and built lasting friendships with her clients for many years.

Jane's faith was the cornerstone of her life. She was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving faithfully in numerous positions in Primary and Relief Society. She and Jack served together in the Pennsylvania Philadelphia Mission, spreading their love and testimony. For several years before Jack's passing, Jane and Jack performed temple ordinance work, dedicating themselves to service beyond themselves.

Jane was a breast cancer survivor, facing her battle with the same strength and faith that defined her character. She will be remembered most for her remarkable kindness, unwavering faith, and her infectious sense of humor and sarcasm that could brighten anyone's day. She had a gift for making people feel loved and valued. Jane found joy in many hobbies: reading, working puzzles, spending precious time with her grandchildren, painting, ceramics, and knitting. Every creation was made with love.

Jane is survived by five children: Kim (Karrie) Jones of Springville, Utah; Kathryn (David) Pierce of Alpine, Utah; Corie Jones of Springville, Utah; Rick (Pam) Jones of Taylorsville, Utah; and Tracy Spencer of Springville, Utah. She was a grandmother to 20 grandchildren and a great-grandmother to 16 great-grandchildren, with 2 more blessings arriving this fall.

Jane was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jack, her three brothers Lee, Packard, and Rulon Condie, and her sister Phyllis Condie.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Chapel located at 355 East Center Street, Springville, with a viewing held that morning at the church from 9:30 a.m. -10:30 a.m. prior to the services. Interment will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery, 1997 South 400 East, Springville.
