John Stephan Byrne, age 28 of Springville, Utah, loving know as "Stevo" died June 1, 2017. He passed in his home . He was born December 1, 1988 in San Luis Obispo, California, the son of John Robert Byrne and Kelya Hanna Tasire. He attended elementary school in Vernal, Utah; LaPoint , Utah; Pleasant Grove, Utah. As a cub scout, he earned his Arrow of Light.
Stevo attended Emerson Smith Arts High in Springville, Utah, graduating in 2007. He attending Utah State University and worked as a waiter at Joe Bandito's Mexican Restaurant.
Stevo is survived by his parents John Robert Byrne of Santa Margarita, California; Keiya Hanna Tasire of Kaslo, BC, Canada, and Stepfather Nicholas Anthony Pascale. He leaves behind his brothers Aaron Dwayne Dykstra of Boulder City, Nevada; Kevin Lee Dykstra of Henderson, Nevada; Skyller Martain Dykstra of Springville, Utah; Jonathan Jerome Pascale (Jack) of Austin, Texas; Maria Booth Byrne of California; and Audrie Anne Byrne of Columbus, Ohio. John Stephan leaves behind his paternal grandfather John Lawrence Byrne of Denver, Colorado. Proceeding him in death were his paternal grandmother Geneva Katherine Byrne (Barnhart) of Denver, Colorado; his maternal grandparents Jerry Kurt Booth and Dolly Garcia Booth of Henderson, Nevada.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Wheeler Mortuary in Springville, Utah. Calling hours for the immediate family were held June 5, 2017. A service will be held at Wheeler Mortuary - 211 E 200 S in Springville June 7, 2017 at 12:00 Noon. A Celebration of Life for close family and friends will be provided by the owners of Joe Bandito's Mexican Restaurant, Jesus and his wife Ruth Zamora following the service.
