Joslyn Morrison

Joslyn Morrison, 22, of Springville Utah, passed away unexpectedly Monday July 4th, 2022. Joslyn was born on January 13, 2000, in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Jimmy Dewain Morrison and Ruth Anderson Morrison.  Joslyn’s siblings include Jesica Morrison, Rebecca Pedersen (m. Mark Pedersen), Jakob Morrison, Jaxon Morrison, and Rhett Morrison.

Joslyn’s greatest joy in life was loving and caring for others as she worked to make them happy.  She continuously used her talents in sewing, drawing, and showing an abundance of love to help others to feel joy, comfort, and acceptance. Joslyn wanted to understand everything and everybody. Her goal in life was to know everyone as God knew them and she wanted others to know her the same way.  She always stood firmly for what was right and fair, and she was always ready to fight for the underdog. She never wanted others to feel left out or unloved. Joslyn was an amazing and loving daughter, a fun and loyal sister, and a friend to everyone she met. She is a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Joslyn told us often that she looked forward to going “Home” where she could be with Jesus and be enveloped in His love. We have faith that she is there now making people happy.

Joslyn is survived by her parents: Jimmy and Ruth Morrison of Springville, Utah; 5 siblings: Jesica Morrison, Rebecca Pedersen (m. Mark Pedersen), Jakob Morrison, Jaxon Morrison, and Rhett Morrison all of Springville; grandparents Lynn and Ruby Morrison of Springville and Karl and Joyce Anderson of Lyndhurst Ohio and many aunts, uncles, and cousins all of whom loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by cousins Codey, Kelley, and Ryan.

A viewing for friends and family of Joslyn will be held on Sunday, July 10th in the evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and on Monday, July 11th in the morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Hobble Creek Stake Center located at 495 S. Canyon Drive, Springville, Utah.  Memorial services will be held at the same chapel at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 11th.  Burial will be in the Springville Historic Cemetery.
