Kara Lee Roberts

Kara Lee Clements Roberts, 80, of Springville, passed away, June 10, 2024.  Kara was born on July 4th, 1943, to Reed Clements and Gertrude Averett Clements.

Kara married her beautiful Hawaiian, Elroy Kunane Roberts, in Las Vegas, Nevada on December 6, 1963. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Provo, Temple. Her first job after marriage was at the Pioneer Theater in Provo for Marv and Janine Cox. What a great place to see a movie! Kara was a Dental Assistant for Dr. John Marshall, DDS and Dr. Whitby, DDS for many years. She enjoyed cooking, GOLF!, Softball, and her Grandchildren. Kara loved to watch cooking shows on YouTube, eating garden fresh tomatoes and corn on the cob. Back in the day she could consume 6 pieces of corn for dinner, she loved it so much.

Kara is survived by her 3 children, Kory Moore (Duane Moore), Elorie Roberts (Mike Gregg), and Tara Jensen (Robert Jensen): 4 Grandchildren, Torie, Tyler, Lea and Lilinoe, Great-Grandchildren, Kaislee and Oliver: sibling, Paula Mendenhall of Las Vega, NV.

She is preceded in death by Husband, Elroy Kunane Roberts, her brothers, Tom, Reed and Bryce Clements and Granddaughter Nyx Kew.

Visitation will be held Monday June 17, 2024 from 11:00- Noon, at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South, Springville, Utah. Interment at Springville City Cemetery following Visitation.

Post Script: Kara’s little brother, David Clements passed away on June 12, 2024. I like to think he followed her just like he did when he was a boy. David and Paul are chasing her down the beach teasing and laughing while Elroy looks on. The Roberts family will miss him.
