Lance David Farr passed away at 56 years old the morning of November 3, 2025. He passed away at home in Springville, UT after years of battling cancer. Lance was born June 27, 1969, in Provo, UT to loving parents Kirk and Mary Farr (passed on). And left behind his siblings Greg Farr, Suzette Thomas (spouse Russell), Sharri Peine (spouse Brant), Seth Farr (spouse Tara), and Brett Farr (spouse Melissa). He was married to his wife Tanya for 27 years, and had four children Ashley Maycock, Dallas (spouse Holly), Andrew, and Hunter (partner Aubree). And had five grandchildren Aria, Enslee, Adde, William, and Aaron, and another on the way.
Lance was a quiet caring man. He was always caring for everyone around him and giving everything he could. He loved being outdoors, camping, hiking, riding four-wheelers, especially at his family's property. Lance loved watching football, particularly his favorite teams Philadelphia Eagles and BYU. He loved working on projects while listening to his classic rock music. He was a hard worker and proved that every day. He graduated from Spanish Fork High school and worked at Utah Valley Hospital for many years as a maintenance mechanic and Director of facilities, then moved to Utah Valley Specialty Hospital and worked as the Director of facilities.
He left behind so many other people who loved and cared for him. If you want to join us for a short memorial for Lance, it will be held Monday November 10th at 4pm at 1785 East 400 South Springville, UT 84663
