She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She married Paul Skidmore (later divorced) and had 2 sons, Andrew and Payton, who were the love of her life. Leslie loved to be outdoors and took great pride in gardening. She loved to cook and everything she made was a "killer" dish, according to her. She loved football, especially when Utah beat BYU. She loved being with her family.
Leslie is survived by her 2 children Andrew Skidmore and Payton Skidmore, mother Dian Mahin of Springville, father Stanley (Joan) Odekirk of Springville, brother Rod (Debbie) Odekirk of Riverton, sister Laurie (Doug) Bills of Mapleton, 4 nieces, 3 nephews, and 17 great nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Saturday July 7, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Hobble Creek 5th Ward chapel, 1440 E. 900 S., Springville, Utah. Viewing will be held from 9:30am to 10:45am prior to the service. Interment will be at the Evergreen Cemetery in Springville, Utah.
Leslie Dawn Odekirk Skidmore, age 51, passed away July 2, 2012 in Springville, Utah. She was born in Murray, Utah on June 10, 1961 to Stanley Odekirk and Dian McDonald Mahin.
