Marilyn Sundblom laid aside her mortal coil and was greeted by loved ones on the other side of the veil. She passed away unexpectedly on March 16, 2020. She was born October 14, 1961 to Richard Sundblom and JoAnn Castleton Howard.
Her life was filled with trials and pain. Yet through it all, she persisted in trying to make her life better a little at a time. She had a huge heart. She loved people and was a very patient soul. Her passion was to someday help people, which is why she pursued her degree so late in life.
More than anything, she loved the Lord, Jesus Christ. She was close to Him and often heard His voice. She loved going to the temple. She loved her ward members. She loved the prophet.
She also loved her very large family. All her cousins, aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews. We're a big clan. If we could, we'd all be there for the service. I am sure she knows and sees how much we love her back. She's hanging out with her mother and Grandma Castleton right now, and a whole bunch of other family that have blazed the trail to the other side.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Sundblom and JoAnn Castleton Howard and all of her grandparents. She is survived by her 3 brothers, Richard (Marlene) Sundblom Jr., Dale (Julie) Sundblom and Glenn (Jennifer) Sundblom and several aunts and uncles. As you can tell, she loved her large extended family.
Marilyn will be buried in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery on March 19, 2020. Because of the Coronavirus, the burial service is by invitation only. Once the virus scare has passed we will plan a Memorial Service for all who wish to come to.
