Marion Richardson Taylor, 75, of Springville, Utah, died November 24, 2020 – on her 75th Birthday She was a Strong woman and fought a 14-year battle with cancer, to us, she kicked the cancer - but died due to complications of Covid-19.   Marion was born November 24, 1945 in Grand Junction, Colorado she was second daughter to Robert Isiah Richardson and Fay Jerene Collom.  Marion had 2 sisters one older sister Elizabeth (Liz) and one younger sister Delia King (Dee).  They lived in Oklahoma until Marion was 10 years old when her and Dee moved to Salt Lake City (Sugarhouse area) with her mother! Marion graduated from South High School in Salt Lake. She also graduated from a Beauty School she took while she was still in High School.  From her first marriage (Ben Orvin) she had 2 sons Jeff and Randy who were born in the early 1970’s while living in Murray, Utah.

Marion married her loving husband Don R Taylor in September 1982. They lived together in West Valley, Payson, Kearns, Taylorsville, and Springville. They were constant companions at each new home they lived in to improve the interior and do yard-work.  They always created a beautiful yard, the grass always thick and green, with a variety of lovely flowers and Rose bushes and Yard Art. Marion also liked to collect ceramics and figurines and had a bell collection! She could sew, paint and crochet, she often would make blankets or crochet hot pads for everyone at Christmas. She worked at some Children’s Day Care places and would make life-long friends everywhere she went (Emilee Grant like a daughter). She loved to cook! She could make a recipe better than at any Restaurant. Marion enjoyed going to weekly Bingo at the Senior Center in Springville.  She loved her nephews and nieces like they were her own!  Marion loved her fur-babies, she kept and cared for them, both cat and dog! From Big Mamma, Willie and Rocky, Daisy Mae, Billie and her May-May, everyone knew she kept them by her side and her heart!  Marion was especially proud of her Sons and their livelihood and skills – she loved and adored each of her grandchildren, talked of them often and was interested in what they were doing.
