Masao Keawepuahikinao Kaanga

Masao Keawepuahikinao Kaanga passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2022.  He was born April 29, 2003, in Newport Beach, California, to Mandy and Jared Kaanga.

Masao graduated from Springville High School in 2021.  He attended the Tippie School of Business at the University of Iowa in Iowa City.  He was a big cinema fan and enjoyed several shows and movies.  He loved singing, sports, and dancing to his favorite oldies.  He was a loving brother, son, and friend.

Masao is survived by his parents: Mandy and Jared Kaanga; and his three siblings: Tomokia (16), Kerehi (11), and Raka (9).

Family and friends are welcome to attend a service in his memory.  Services will be held Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at 12:00 pm with a viewing prior to the services from 9:30 - 11:30 at the LDS Chapel, 950 South 1700 East in Springville, UT.  Burial will be in the Historic Springville Cemetery.
