Milton Ross Brady
1931-2019
Milton was born September 4, 1931, died April 13, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his parents Niels Stanley Brady and Coquella Jones, his beloved wife Kola Dee Gustaveson, his brother Stanley Jay Brady, his Sister, Maureen Allred, and 3 children, Milton Ross Brady Jr., Phillip Brady, and Kolalyn Brady, sons in law Johnny Johnson, Jack Adams, and Eric Koehler.
He is survived by his wife Oneita Burnside Sumsion Brady, and his children Barbara Lynne Johnson, Kay Jean Koehler, Connie Anne Spjute (Kurt), Douglas Niel Brady (Kaye), and Curtis Arthur Brady (Kim). He has many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was an active High Priest of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in many positions, Sunday School teacher, YM presidency, Scout Master, Ward Clerk, High Priest group secretary, ward historian and temple worker.
He was born and raised in Fairview, Utah. He graduated from North Sanpete High School in 1949 and married Kola Gustaveson in 1950. They lived in Bountiful, Ut where he joined the U.S. Army reserve and worked at the Ogden armory, then Hillfield Airforce Base as a jet engine mechanic. He later worked for the US post office.
Milton retired and loved to travel, then settled in Sumner Washington area to assist his son Douglas with a new postal business. When his wife Kola passed away in 2004, he was reunited with a childhood friend Oneita Sumsion and they were married for almost 15 years.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 10 a.m. in the LDS Chapel at 355 E. Center Street in Springville. There will be a viewing held at the church one hour prior to the services. Interment will be at Fairview City Cemetery, Fairview Utah at 1:30 pm.
