Milton Richardson Carter

Milton Richardson Carter, 71 of Springville, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2020 after a six-week battle with Covid-19.  He was born October 18, 1949 to Kenneth Lavon Carter and Margaret Richardson.

He worked for WW Clyde Construction for 15 years.  Then owned and operated Milts Auto Repair for 22 years.  Milt enjoyed golf and loved music.  He was an excellent husband, father, and grandfather.  He loved his family dearly and was crazy about his grandkids.  He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  He will be deeply missed.

Milt is survived by his wife of 50 years Jan Allred Carter and 2 children: Christian Carter of Springville and Maranda (Alex) Keeler of Manti; five grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; one brother, Ron Carter; three sisters, Sandy Hinkel, Cheryl Taylor and Julie Ray.  He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Randall Carter from a previous marriage.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Evergreen Cemetery in Springville.
