Olive Pauline (Morris) Carter

O. Pauline Morris Carter, was born August 29, 1919 in Seneca, Nebraska the youngest of 7 children born to Louis and Olive Morris. She passed peacefully in her sleep, at the age 98, on January 8, 2018.

She is survived by her daughter Lynnette (Ferrell) of Layton, UT. Stephanie (Carter-Nielsen) of Centerville, and son-in-law Joe (Oberlander) of Ogden, UT. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and four great Grand Children.  She was proceeded in death by her son Gary, Daughter Paulette and Grandson, Alex.

A woman of the Prairie she was raised in a sod home and schooled in a one room school house.  She later taught in a rural Nebraska (riding a horse 7 miles to teach) as well as Provo, Tintic, Granite and Davis school districts.  A graduate of BYU in special education, she loved working with children. She was well traveled and enjoyed the company of her friends.
