Ray Allen Johnson

Springville

Ray Allen Johnson (81) passed away at his home in Springville Utah on Friday February 16, 2024. Ray was born March 6, 1942 in Spanish Fork, Utah eldest son to Norris and Madge Johnson. 

He is survived by his children Dean Johnson, Wendy Elder, Darren Johnson, and Blake Johnson. He was blessed with many grand and great-grandchildren. He is survived by a sister Maureen Hurst and two brothers Kent Johnson and Clifford Johnson. He is proceeded in death by his wife Marilyn (Zobell) Johnson his father Norris Johnson his mother Madge Johnson and his brothers Gary Johnson and Stephen Johnson. 

Ray joined the army for a short stay before transferring to the navy where he served as boat coxswains. Ray careered as a journeyman carpenter under the tutelage of his father-in-law Ben Zobell. 

Ray greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing along with metal detecting. 

A viewing for family and friends will be held Thursday February 22, 2024 between 9:30 and 10:30 am at Wheeler Mortuary 211 East 200 South Springville. A Graveside service will follow at the Springville Historic Cemetery.
