Rebecca Lynn Bentley-Mila

Rebecca Lynn Bentley-Mila passed away August 18, 2023, in Provo, Utah, surrounded by her family. Rebecca was born July 10, 1962, to Marion Dennis (Buddy) Bentley and Wanda Lee Adkins in Paintsville, Kentucky. 

Rebecca spent her formative years in Chelsea, Michigan where she graduated from Chelsea High School in 1980. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Advertising and Public Relations from Brigham Young University and later earned her Master of Arts in Communication and Leadership Studies from Gonzaga University.

After graduating from Brigham Young University she worked first as a Senior Advertising Writer for Rockwell Automation. That led to a position with the Brady Marketing Group where she advanced to corporate leadership as Vice President. In 2004, Rebecca branched out on her own, forming G2P Creative, Inc., a corporation that developed copywriting and creative direction for other corporations.

While maintaining ownership of G2P, Rebecca was hired by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints as the Creative Director of LDS Philanthropies, a position Rebecca held until she passed.

Rebecca was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and aunt and a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Rebecca was predeceased by her father and is survived by her two precious daughters, Claire Lilianna Mila, age 16, and Annaliese Sulianna Mila, age 14, and her mother, her three sisters, Rosa Lee Price (Scott), Lisa Renee Cole (Darren), and Rhonda Louise Bailey (David), as well as several nephews and nieces.

A viewing for family and friends will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023 from 6-8 pm at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South, Springville.  Funeral services will be Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 1:00 pm at the LDS Chapel located at 1785 East 400 South, Springville, with a viewing held that morning at the church from 11:30-12:30 pm prior to the services.

In lieu of flowers those wishing to do so may send memorial contributions to The American Diabetes Association.
