Reed James Nielsen

Reed James Nielsen passed away at home on Sunday June 10, 2007 with a smile on his face. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Reed loved life, family, friends, work, & having fun.



Born 6/24/1958 to Paul & Mildred Nielsen. Married to Dena Bowen 07/17/1976, "We have shared a romantic life together for over thirty years. The greatest pride and joy, seeing our love come life with our children and grandchildren."



Reed worked as iron worker, welder, & crane operator on many structures (projects/jobs) throughout the west. He took great pride in "building the world". He loved the challenge in a job well done and all of the friends along the way.



Reed was preceded in death by his son: Charles Ralph, Father: Paul Ralph, sisters: Paula Lynn and Linda, grandparents and friends.



He was survived by his wife Dena and children: Amy Dawn & Chris Hickman, William Paul, Joseph Reed & Lisa. Grandkids: Chaelisa, Ambyr, Brody, Rainy, & Bridget. Mother Millie and brother Steve.



A special thanks to all the loving care and support from Vista Care, UCMC, & Huntsman Center.



A visitation will be held at Wheeler Mortuary on Thursday, June 14, 2007 from 6-8 pm and Friday from 10 -11 am. Followed by a graveside at 11:30 in the Evergreen cemetery.
