At 4:30 pm on March 20th 1969 the world became a smaller place as Robert and Evaleen Roberts welcomed their son Randall Kerry Roberts. Kerry was born in Las Vegas Nevada. Not long afterwards they moved to McGill Nevada, where Kerry spent his time riding a little mustang horse named Yogi, and frequenting the Frosty stand. The family moved to Huntington Utah when Kerry was 7 years old. Kerry grew up exploring the desert and mountains where he loved atving and snow skiing and frequenting the lakes in the area waterskiing. Kerry was a pro at jump starting from the shore and effortlessly jumping the wake.
Kerry attended Huntington Elementary, and Canyon View Junior High. He went to high school at Emery County High, where he met Robyn Boyce, his high school sweetheart and future wife. Kerry excelled in band, Jazz band, and debate.
Kerry and Robyn were married on October 3rd 1987, they made their home in Midvale Utah where they soon welcomed their 1st daughter Camille Chambray to their family. Kerry went to work at Word Perfect in Orem, Utah and they moved to Pleasant Grove and soon bought a home in Orem, where they welcomed Shaelynn Randi to their little family. Kerry worked his way through Printer Support, to the Problem Resolutions group at Word Perfect where he met long lasting dear friends. Kerry soon went to work at Keylabs, along with many of those same dear friends from Word Perfect. Kerry loved to play roller hockey with his co-workers, and Robyn soon joined in on the fun. Kerry and Robyn moved their little family to Mapleton in 1996 and have called it home ever since. Kerry has had a love for most everything that has a motor and is recreational. ATVing has been a family passion. Cami and Shae were practically born on an ATV. His girls could ride as well or better than any boy. Kerry ended his professional career at CSC as a Global Engineer, working with clients from all over the world in 2016.
Kerry has been an incredibly wonderful husband, father, and Bampa. There is a huge hole in the Roberts household as he leaves behind his wife Robyn, daughters, and son-in-laws, Camille (Matt Bezzant), Shaelynn (Colton Wood). Kerry's 4 grandsons Beckett Marrell Wood, Cory Herbert, Jackman Randall Wood, and Ren Lloyd Bezzant will lead a life following in his footsteps living life to the fullest. Kerry and Robyn were sealed for all time and eternity, in the Provo City Center Temple on March 17, 2018
Kerry is survived by his mother, Evaleen Barton Roberts, and sister Carolyn Deleeuw. Kerry has been reunited with his father Robert L Roberts, and brothers Kevin Scott Roberts, and Robert Craig Munson, grandparents, Owen and Delva Barton, and Wilburn and Vaughnetta Roberts, and father-in-law Charles Steven Boyce.
Kerry has fought a valiant battle with cancer, he always had a positive attitude and a smile on his face as he was planning his next family ride or get together. We want to thank family, friends, ward members, and medical professionals for their loving care and support.
