Rosalie Marie Simons

Rosalie Marie Simons, 88, passed away peacefully in her home on Monday June 8th, 2026. Rosalie was born in Manti Utah on February 23rd, 1938 into the large and loving family of George D and Elfia Keisel.

Rosalie was preceded in death by her husband Don Owen Simons and her sons Steven, Paul and Michael. Rosalie is survived by her remaining five children, Don, Larry, Debbie, Doug, Brent and Brent’s wife Angie. Rosalie is also survived by her siblings Lane, Pat, Russel, Marilyn and Guy Keisel.

Rosalie cherished her family and spent her life serving them and those who knew her. Don and Rosalie currently have 22 grandchildren and several great grandchildren along with the adopted children of friends and neighbors or whomever entered their home.

Rosalie opened her heart and home to all that entered. She left a legacy of love, hard work, faith and family. Rosalie worked in multiple capacities throughout her life and never shied away from a hard day’s work. She always had a project and seemed to be continually remodeling, painting or planting. Rosalie’s love of the mountains, BYU football and animals will always be remembered. Rosalie was talented with design and color. She knew how to create balance and harmony with both objects and people.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 15, 2026 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Chapel, 395 North 400 East, Springville, Utah. Viewings for family and friends will also take place at the church on Sunday, June 14, 2026 from 6-8 p.m. and on Monday, June 15, 2026 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. before the services at the church. Rosalie will be laid to rest at the Evergreen cemetery in Springville Utah next to her lifelong partner of 68 years, Don Owen Simons.
