Vincent “Vince” Allen Woods July 14, 1963 – April 14, 2026
Vincent “Vince” Allen Woods, 62, passed away peacefully at his home in Mapleton on April 14, 2026.
Vince was born in Spanish Fork on July 14, 1963, where he was raised and built the foundation of a life defined by hard work, loyalty, and love for his family.
Vince was a dedicated and skilled worker throughout his life. He worked as a Crane Operator at Geneva Steel and most recently served as a Maintenance Lead with the Utah Housing Authority. He took pride in his work and was known for his reliability, strong work ethic, and ability to solve just about any problem that came his way.
Outside of work, Vince enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He loved the freedom of riding his motorcycle and the satisfaction of fixing cars. He also enjoyed firearms and spent many hours perfecting his artwork of drawings and building detailed models. He was a man who could fix just about anything and was always the person others turned to when they needed help. Dependable to his core, Vince was generous with his time, his skills, and his knowledge—he could always tell you how to do something and was more than willing to lend a hand.
Above all, Vince was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his devoted wife, Lisa; his children, Taylor and Nic; and his cherished grandson, Jackson. His family was the center of his world, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A viewing will be held Friday evening, April 24, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. The funeral service on Saturday, April 25, 2026, will begin with an additional viewing at 9:30 a.m. with the service at 11:00 a.m., all at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South, Springville. Family and friends are welcome to a luncheon to be held afterwards at the LDS Church on 1580 N Main St in Mapleton at 1:00pm.
Vince will be remembered for his steady presence, his willingness to help anyone in need, and the deep love he had for his family. Reflecting the loyalty and devotion he admired in Porter Rockwell, a sentiment that captures his spirit is:
“True strength is found in standing by those you love, no matter the cost.”
His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the countless things he built, fixed, and made better.
Condolences for the family may be expressed on this page.
